Spring cleaning has occurred and the coop has been moved to a more permanent location out in the backyard. We cleaned it and added fresh sand so it is prepped for a fresh season. The hens have been wonderful bug catchers. As soon as anyone pulls out a shovel to start digging in the garden, the girls cluck and hurry over to see what worms, grubs, or other insects appear in the fresh dirt.
