We were blessed to inherit our dear friend Joan's two dogs - Olive (above) and Pan (below with frisbee). There was much skepticism regarding how well they would do when introduced to the hens, being spaniels who love to chase squirrels. We have been delighted though to find with a little education and encouragement the dogs are both great with the hens and leave them alone. It is incredible how wise animals can be when we take time to explain and lay the groundwork for their peaceful shared spaces.
